| 2006 | Rooftop

| On the 1 January Wyevale commenced a new contract for Rooftop Housing Association for the maintenance of all their landscapes areas covering not just the Worcestershire properties but also all their other properties which includes Northamptonshire, North Somerset, West Midlands and Gloucestershire. The service covers all aspects including grass cutting, shrub maintenance, hedge cutting, and tree works. Wyevale have undertaken the grounds maintenance services for the Association since its incorporation and prior to that had undertaken as part of the District Council Contract. Wyevale have therefore been maintaining the areas since 1993 and under this contract are now guaranteed until 2010 and there is an optional 2 year extension which means that should this be taken up Wyevale will have maintained the areas for almost 20 years! |

The
area in question is a former landfill site and we were working with
contaminated ground. The scheme involved the formation of new
footpaths, installation of a Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) and the
supply and installation of play equipment. The works involved the
movement of 100's of cubic metres of topsoil which is to be banked on
site and capped off with imported topsoil. To reduce the amount of
Type 1 aggregate Wyevale will be utilising crushed brick which is a
recycled product which is good in wet ground conditions where Type 1
does not tend to bind very well. The contract value is £208k.

| The installation of footpaths, a Multi Use Games Area (MUGA), two new play areas, large feature entrances, construction of Gazebo and soft landscaping to a new park in the Bourneville area of Weston-Super-Mare. The contract involves the movement of a large amount of soil within a limited area. The contract value is £335k. | ||

installation of a series of steps on a long incline, the formation of
a new car park and the construction of new footpaths and hard
landscape features together with new furniture such as seats and
benches. There is also new soft landscaping encompassing large trees
and shrub planting. The contract value is £215k.

| Wyevale has been awarded a contract worth in excess of £300,000 per annum for the maintenance of the University campus and sports ground. The contract commenced on 1 September 2005 and is for an initial 3 years with a 2 year optional extension. The work covers a wide range of operations including road sweeping, grass cutting, fine turf maintenance and tree and shrub maintenance. The standard of the football pitches is very high as it is used by Championship football club Brighton & Hove Albion | ||

works covered the soft landscaping of the New Police Headquarters in
Gloucester. The works included large tree planting, shrub
beds and turfing. The site included a Ha-Ha which had to use a special
cell membrane to stabile the area prior to being planted. The contract value
is £70k

| On the 1 April Wyevale was awarded the contract for the maintenance of the housing areas in the Stratford-Upon-Avon area for South Warwickshire Housing Association. This is the 3rd time that the company has been awarded the contract and was re-tendered after a 2 year extension on the last contract. The contract also has an option for a 2 year extension. The works cover cleansing, grass & shrub maintenance & hedge cutting. |

| Wyevale have
recently been successful in winning a substantial contract with North
Somerset Council. A 5 year contract with a 5 year optional extension the
contract started on the 31 January 2005 with a total value of over £10m.
The work encompasses, parks, sports fields and general grounds
maintenance contract covering the areas of Weston-Super-Mare, Cleavdon,
Portishead and surrounding towns and villages of North Somerset. The
work covers areas around the busy seaside Town of Weston. The contract was awarded on the basis of "Best Value" and Wyevale were not the cheapest tender. David Brew, Managing Director stated "This is an exciting win for the company and it is pleasing to have a contract which is virtually on our doorstep and we are looking forward to delivering the service that the client requires" |

A 6 year contract with a 2 year optional extension the contract started on the 1 January 2005 with a total value of over £2m. Fields, Cemeteries, etc Wyevale have recently been successful in winning a substantial contract with Lewes District Council the 10 year contract starts on the 1 March 2004 with a total value of £8m. This is a cemeteries, parks, sports fields and general grounds maintenance contract covering the areas of Lewes, Seaford and surrounding villages. Wyevale will also be delivering a parks Warden service to improve security and increase liaison between the users and the authority during peak season. London
